Meet The Owners

Sue and Kelvin Walsh 

"The Tongala Pub was closed and I told a heap of young people "you should buy that pub". Nobody came forward. Superannuation wasn't great so I told Sue that we should use the money to buy the pub. It took 2 days... and we had a pub. We bought it in a family trust so when I curl over the grandchildren will have something. It was probably the best decision we ever made. It has given us a reason to get out of bed in the morning. Sue has been wonderful in the pub and she loves it. I don't do a lot around the bar but I am very proud of all my employees and I am very thankful for all the loyal patrons for the support they have given us."

Meet The Head Chef/Manager

Braydan Maloney 

Braydan has Certificate 3 of Commercial Cooking, a Diploma of Hospitality and 15 years of kitchen experience. 

Originally from Tongala but has travelled around Australia working in all different food industry's and plans to do more travel in the future. 

Braydan is an amazing chef who has a bright vision for the pub.
